Come Explore Northern Vermont...
Hyde Park is located at the crossroads of Vermont Route 100, a major scenic north-south route, and Vermont Route 15, which runs east and west from Burlington to St. Johnsbury.
North and east of Hyde Park, is the Northeast Kingdom, one of the most rural areas of the United States. To the west is the Champlain Valley, with Burlington, the Champlain Islands, and the farms around St. Albans.
To the south are Stowe & Smugglers' Notch, Montpelier (the nations smallest state capital), and Waterbury, home of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, the Green Mountain Club, & Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
All around are the Green Mountains, with trails for hiking in the summer and fall and for snowshoeing, skiing, and snowmobiling in the winter.
The Lamoille River flows through Hyde Park on its way to Lake Champlain and offers opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.
There are antique shops and art galleries to explore, and lots of beautiful scenery any time of year.
