Maple sugaring time begins in late winter, before for the snow melts.  Come see how it’s done during Maple Open House Weekend, www.vermontmaple.org, in March, or come to the Vermont Maple Festival, www.vtmaplefestival.org, in St. Albans in April.  Come spring and on into summer and fall you can visit display gardens and farms and see the granite quarry from which the stone for the WWII memorial in D.C. came.  Cabot Creamery and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream offer tours year-round, so come sample the flavors of Vermont!
