If you enjoy meeting artists and seeing their workshops and studios, come to Open Studio Weekend, www.vermontcrafts.com, on Memorial Day weekend or Columbus Day weekend, when a large number of artists and craftsmen open their studios and workshops to the public. Other events are the Craftsbury Antiques & Uniques show on Craftsbury Common in July, the Mad River Valley Craft Fair Labor Day weekend, or the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival in October.
